Designed as a highly portable general purpose optic, the Minox 8x25 BF Binocular combines multiple technologies to provide the performance required for use on the trail, at the range, in the stadium, or sightseeing around town — and the 25mm objectives won't weigh you down or add too much bulk when in your pack or pocket. Anti-reflection multi-coatings on all optical surfaces and phase-correcting prism coatings work together to produce improve low-light performance and help to produce high-contrast images that are bright and clear with accurate color rendition. The moderate magnification helps to reduce the appearance of the natural hand-shake that is common with holding binoculars for long periods of time, and its close minimum focus distance comes in at just under five feet so you can make detailed observations on feeding birds or butterflies with ease.
Designed to withstand the rigors of a life lived outdoors, the chassis is constructed of a lightweight and durable aluminum alloy, with a black rubberized armor to help give you a slip-resistant grip — especially in cold or wet conditions. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed for fogproof performance when moving through extreme temperature variations, while also making it waterproof to a depth of 10 feet. For long-duration glassing sessions, the BF is tripod mountable with an optional adapter, and twist-up eyecups ensure the perfect eye relief with or without eyewear.
